Casey’s first exhibition took place at Tulsa’s Gilcrease Museum when she was merely fifteen years old. Her work has won various awards and has been featured in the U.K.’s Photoshop Creative Magazine. Equally comfortable with conventional and digital media, Casey’s work synthesizes a style all her own from a host of influences, including N.C. Wyeth, Alphonse Mucha, Patrick Nagel, Ed Ruscha, Anton Corbijn, Norman Rockwell, Tom of Finland and Hokusai. She also draws inspiration from two other lifelong sources of fascination: surf and skateboard graphics of the ’70s and ’80s, and classic album art, particularly that by the hand of California airbrush artists like Willardson, White and Palombi.
Casey is available for poster and promotional media design, including logos, website elements, business cards/branding suites, cd package design, merchandise design, as well as special projects such as wedding invitations, personal portraits and social networking cards. Her paintings (images to come) and self-portrait series, Hero Worship: A History of Western Civilization in High Heels, are available for exhibition bookings.
